Okay, so this blog has not been around long enough for me to get many questions from readers, but there are several questions I am repeatedly asked. So, I thought this would be a good place to put down all the answers.

Q: Honey, where do we keep the __________?
A: The same place we have kept it for the last three years. Or, in our old house, the same place we have kept it for the last five years. (Since first writing this, we have moved to a new house. This question is perfectly acceptable. For now)

Q: Can I watch TV?
A: If your homework is done and the piano is practiced, it’s not a nice enough day to play outside and we can’t think of absolutely anything else to do, and if I have PMS and need some space, well then…maybe.

Q: What’s for dinner?
A: Something delicious, creative, homemade and healthy. Or takeout.

Q: Are you coming to bed?
A: In a minute. After I finish this chapter. (Translation: in a couple of hours.)

Q: If my dress/pants/shirt/stuffed animal/blanket gets dirty, is it washable?
A: Yes, and washing it will only make it softer. (Thanks to The Girl Wonder’s OCD, I get asked this one at least once a day.)

Q: If my dress/pants/shirt/stuffed animal/blanket gets a hole, can you sew it?
A: Yup, and it will look even better than new. (See above.)

Q: Do I have to?
A: Yes, but you don’t have to want to.

Q: Do you plan to have more children?
A: Why, do you have some you’d like to get rid of?

Q: Is there anything you can’t do?
A: I’ll never tell.
